After about a month or so, we decided to meet in person.  Melinda drove out to Palm Springs to meet me after working a long weekend shift.  It was love at first sight to say the least.  Melinda brought her 2 kids with her and we all went out to dinner.  The kids were unfortunately not on their best behaviors as well.  But I wasn't bothered by it (Melinda would tell you that is one of the things that really won her heart).  Afterwards we went back to my apartment.  Melinda & the kids stayed the night to avoid the long drive home at night.  We all camped out in my living room.  Then I got up in the morning to go to work and Melinda went to get breakfast at Mc Donald's and brought it to my job so we could enjoy breakfast together.  

She left to go home after that, and we planned on meeting again.  This time, I went out to see her.  It was a 90 minute drive to Azusa from Palm Springs.  The original plan was for me to stay just for the day but ended up staying longer than that.  Neither one of us wanted me to leave.  After a short time, a very short time, we began falling in love with each other.  The rest is history.

We've had our share of ups and downs, but more ups than downs.  We're deeply in love with each other and grow even closer as each day passes.
